Criterion DVD going OUT OF PRINT 3/31/10

Barely nine months after having been released on Criterion's Essential Art House label, Last Holiday is, amazingly, about to go out of print in this edition. Along with about 20 or so other titles, Criterion has lost its rights to the film, effective March 31, 2010.

The film's been acquired by Lionsgate, but given the state of classic releases in general, and by Lionsgate in particular, it's doubtful it'll make a reappearance any time soon. In any case, the E.A.H. disc is certainly as good if not better than anything else we'll see. Get it while you can, and while prices are still low.
