Is it just me or was Sean Connery the one who

I'm just a little over 2 years late with this answer but Wikipedia says Connery got interested in acting after getting a backstage job in late 1951. That's near a year too late to be in Last Holiday.

It definitely wasn't a 20 year old Sean Connery playing the truckie's part.
