I wonder if that boy with the boil is alive today!

Are any of these guys alive today?

I'm watching it right now, almost done and I have loved it so far.

I'd like to set sail one day!

wow these guys are heroes
they even saved that polynesian boy's life
they deserve a medal or sometheing
let's celebrate kon tiki's day on the day they reached that island

Thor Heyerdahl died in 2002. But everyone up until their now-twenties remember him, even though I at the time didn't know much about his expeditions (I was 12 when he died).
Don't know about the rest... :)

If you loved the documentary, you should check out the trailer for the upcoming new movie "kon tiki" looks really epic. Looking forword to that one!
