New Yorkers will get a treat!

Many of the scenes in this movie were shot out in real NYC locations, so New Yorkers will get a nice eyeful of what areas of NYC used to look like before it became gentrified. The neighborhood where all the flop houses are used to be call The Bowery. This is where all the homeless, bums and whinos lived. The Third Avenue El was eventually torn down and how The Bowery is more or less cleaned up.
