True Blessing

I am an atheist, but I felt so very blessed after watching this film.

Intellectually stimulating and emotionally overwhelming, I rate this film a masterpiece 10/10!

Was Bresson an atheist?

a christian atheist (this was self-applied). i think it were going by an aesthetic, i'd say christian existentialism (kierkegaard).

Might I also suggest to you to watch The Passion of Joan of Arc (from 1928), with the newly-created soundtrack (the original film was completely silent). I'm also an atheist, but this film is simply astounding in those respects.
