The scene where the young priest challenges the mother's faith in front of the fireplace. I have never been so moved or rewatched a scene over and over again just in utter awe.

Though I won't say it is the most powerful scene in film history, it certainly does rank very high up there with the best of them. Very profound and unlikely to be forgotten.
