I guess one could call the National Film Registry the Hall of Fame for movies. It's a pleasant surprise to see this great film among the list this year.

Maybe I'm just caffinated, but I'm ecstatic about one of my favorite films (it's certainly the most criminally underrated of my Top 10 list) get included. Even though it isn't much, I'm happy for this small bit of recognition. And yes, it *is* a great film.
It's funny that there are actually two Gloria Grahame movie included--this one and Oklahoma!.
