Spielberg is remaking it

It's just been announced in Variety that Steven Spielberg is remaking Harvey. I would bet he'll cast Tom Hanks.

Hanks is the obvious choice and he could do the physical comedy very well.

ahhhhh Spielberg is such a Rapist!! why cant he just leave things be...
and it will blatently be Hanks!

reply

Hanks is the obvious choice, given Spielberg's track record. I hope they go with someone else. I wouldn't mind, for example, seeing Aaron Eckhart tackle the role.

I guess the rent is due!!! If Steven Spielberg were a "Real" director committed to making films and persevering Hollywood history this wouldn't happen!!!!

Power to the people who punish bad cinema!

Remeber the "War of the Worlds" crap fest remake back in 2005!! 1 of the "Worst films of 2005"!! & nobody had the balls in Hollywood to give Steven Spielberg a "Razzie Awrd" for "Worst Director for "THAT" film!!

I guess the rent is due!!

There are no rules in underground cinema, only edges.

If it's Spielberg and Hanks, two of my favorite people in Hollywood, I think I'll be ok with a remake. As long as they keep the original intention of it, finally someone in Hollywood with "remake-mania" will make something good.
