Had a friend who was an extra

I had a friend who recently passed away at age 82. His name was George Birch and he was from New Jersey. He attended the Lawrenceville School as a youth, where he eventually graduated and went on to become an artist and illustrator of technical manuals used by various scientific and government agencies. He was an extra who can be seen jumping from a classroom window during the "Free pancakes!" scene of this film, and often enjoyed recalling this memorable - albeit brief - moment (e.g. how he got picked to be an extra, some of the crew/ cast he met) in his life to friends and family. He was a fine, talented man who no doubt could have served the production team in greater ways had the opportunity presented itself.
