Question about final scene
Why did Dave go with Clyde to track down Bart and Annie?
Surely this was a job for police only.
Because Dave is a sick bastard and wants to see two people ripped to pieces by gunfire?
Because Clyde is his ride and afterward they are going bowling?
Because Clyde is such a terrible lawman he doesn't know what to do with Dave -
"Uh, there may be shooting, Dave.You could wait here or...I don't know, why don't you come with me? I could use you as a human shield!! Yeah!! Come on, Dave, or you'll miss the slaughter of our friend!!"
I took it that as they had been the closest friends since childhood, Dave hoped to get them to surrender so his friend would not die (until he sat in Old Smokey in the Big House, that is).
Come on lads, bags of swank!
