One of the great 'Killer Babe' movies...

Whatever name you think of this by, it's a classic tale of doomed love between a mild-mannered firearm aficionado and the carnival sharpshooter who shares his fascination. Yeah, you'll notice the connection to Bonnie and Clyde...I consider this better.

I killed him for money and for a woman. I didn't get the money... and I didn't get the woman.

Peggy Cummins is just so sexy and mouth-watering in this. I love movies where women carry firearms and know how to use them. That is such a turn-on.

As great as Bonnie and Clyde is, I also consider Gun Crazy to be better. Peggy Cummins' performance is unforgettable.

Saw Gun Crazy for the first time last night and just loved it.

I think it's better than some other really good films, like Bonnie and Clyde or Born To Kill or even Detour. Peggy Cummins was terrific, as lovely as Veronica Lake and even scarier than Ann Savage because her pretty face kept tricking you into thinking she was normal.

John Dall was great, too. The way his character was torn between loving her and sharing her passion for violence but not wanting to hurt people unnecessarily made it more interesting than just two mean people out to kill and plunder.

No wonder it's such a cult classic. It really deserves a wider audience. I am so glad I finally got a chance to see it.

Wonderful movie. I think even liked better the 2nd time around, as the heroes/villians seemed more intellient and seemed more sincere about wanting "one last score" before leaving the business. Agreed in the opinion that's its superior to Bonnie and Clyde. To me, that's a good movie that had a really good ending. Not a great one. Still, it's significant with it's violence that helped bridge old movies with the ones we see today.

Yeah it´s definitely much better than the overstylized Bonnie & Clyde - the 1967 film, not Die Toten Hosen song, mind you - desperately playing up their protagonists as some counter cultural martyrs. Gun Crazy´s a lot rawer and more low key in fact.
