Were there two squirrels?

It seems to me they used two squirrels in this film. I mean, one seemed to be a trained squirrel who could do all sorts of tricks. But I think he was sick or something, because he looked kinda ratty and seemed to move real jerky and stuff- like he had arthritis. And the other squirrel was younger and healthier and moved real natural, but he didn't know any tricks so they used him when they needed a squirrel to run around in the rafters and stuff..

Just watched this movie (it was in one of those multi-pack dvd holiday sets).

Your post made me laugh out loud, seriously. I know I'm two years late, but funny's funny.

Sorry to ruin yer stupendous disillusion, but Rupert is a stop action puppet. That's what George Pal was famous for -- puppetry!

To understand is the opposite of existing.

"Stunt Squirrel!"

Rupert: "I'll be in my trailer."

Once Rupert went all Hollywood, that's when his ego began to take over.

Whoosh!

Some people just don't understand a good joke when they see it.

The one seen running in the trees was real....the one dressed with "arthritis" was a puppet. The guy won an Oscar or some award for his puppetry effects.

Come on, Franklin! It'll be a fun trip!

He won several Oscars and he was the one who filmed the original "War of the Worlds" still the best version.

Whole sight; or all the rest is desolation.
