OK, no Marathon, but perhaps on consecutive nights...this year, once each night on the 23rd and on Christmas Eve. If its "on" again on Christmas Day, so much the better...one of the best little Christmas movies ever!
Cheers!!

reply

Was it a great movie? No, but it was a fun little movie... I enjoyed it and would watch it again.

reply

Good to know others enjoy this most unique but seldom seen classic ...

You cannot beat Jimmy Durante in anything he ever did and he is accompanied well by a fine class of top performers in this fun film ...

Yes, a marathon would be great, accompanied by other similar seasonal films.

Greetings gator-28 (old Florida boy here...)...Now starting my own little marathon...Mr. Durante's humor, as well as the honesty of his personae, transcends time. This is a classic, and, along with "A Christmas Story", is my favorite Christmas movie. Plus, I like squirrels...cheers!

Saw it tonight for the first time, it was great. I love stories that has something great happen to people who have nothing but each other. Or maybe even they have no one and no hope for anything better and all of a sudden life gets a zillion% better!

The rustle of leaves and the cooling air tells me that the holidays are nearing at a very squirrely rate...know what that means? Yes, perhaps a warmup viewing is in order this weekend! Cheers!

I just saw this for the first time. It is a great little to discover. I would tell people watch this as a double feature with "Christmas in Connecticut"

Marathon?

Is there more than one Rupert movie?

Or do you just show the one over and over?

reply

This one over and over...usually mixed in with a few more holiday favorites.
I have just about every version of A Christmas Carol ever done.
