Perfect candidate for Criterion rehabilitation

Criterion did a fine dvd of "Indiscretion of An American Wife/Terminal Station", which Selznick and Jones did with Vittorio de Sica and they've put out several Powell/Pressburger films. I sure wish they would put out a version of this film with the original and cut versions both included. I've never seen either version of the film, but really love the Powell/Pressburger films I've had the luck to see: "I Know Where I'm Going", "Black Narcissus", "The Red Shoes" and "Peeping Tom", all very different and all superb. Even if this one is a misfire, it sure sounds intriguing!

There's a very good region 2 DVD on the Pearson label
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000059RNP/papas-21
The print on there is from a restoration done by some people working for Disney.
But when they'd finished, the suits at Disney decided not to release it because they weren't sure how popular it'd be

The DVD includes some "home movie" (probably on 8mm) film taken behind the scenes as they were making the film
