I LOVE LUCY CONNECTION

Here's some trivia for you I LOVE Lucy fans. In the Fuller Brush Girl, theres a scene where Lucille is mistaken for a babysitter and left in charge of four rotten brats. The brats lasso her and tie her to their bunk beds and almost burn her at the stake in a game of "cowboys and injuns". In the nick of time the real sitter shows up and saves Lucy from the pyromania-prone brats.
Well the sitter who saves her is played by Gail Bonney. Six years later Gail would appear on I Love Lucy as Mrs. Hudson, mother of two bratty boys whom Lucy has the misfortune of babysitting. Once again Lucy gets tied up and is about to be burned at the stake when Gail comes calling and saves her from getting the "hot seat".
Has anyone happen to have read if that episode of Lucy was indeed inspired by the scene in Fuller Brush Girl? It would seem highly unlikely that it was a coincidence but I've never seen such a statement in any of the I LOVE LUCY books.

I only saw this movie once years ago and thought it was hysterical. I don't recall that scene, all I remember is the home perms she is doing on those ladies, the wild way she dresses up to get into that nightclub(with the gum popping),and that part at the end where she is rolling in a wheel on the boat. TCM is supposed to showcase her in November and I hope they show this movie.
The babysitting 'I Love Lucy' HAD to have been based on the scene from the movie but I never read so either.

TCM DID show it this past week, and it was 2 innertubes that she rolled around on. It was such a funny scene that I laughed myself sick.
