It's really rare that I find a "sleeper" like this one which speaks to my heart as this one does. Watched it on TCM the other night and it's definitely a new favorite movie of mine!

I just saw this movie for the first time on late night GetTV last night. It reminded me of the many 1950s movies in B&W. Some of the familiar faces like Billy Gray ("Father knows best") and Mary Jane Saunders ("Sorrowful Jones"). William Holden seemed to play the same character like he did in "Picnic". Nice to see Coleen Gray ("Nightmare Alley") again who passed away earlier this year.

I don't recall watching Father Knows Best before and just happened to see an episode this morning ("The Persistent Guest") and liked it. I didn't realize that was the same kid.
