I totally disagree with the critique here--I love this movie

I have always liked I Love Lucy, and the first time I saw Fancy Pants, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just re-watched it for about the 3rd time through Netflix. Lucille Ball is gorgeous, and her beauty is more apparent than in I Love Lucy because of the beautiful color.

Is it silly? Yes. Lucille Ball (at 39) and the man who plays Cart Belknap (at 46-47) are both a bit long in the tooth to be believable as a young, single woman and the young man who wants to marry her, but it's still a funny movie.

I recommend it for anyone who's never seen Lucille Ball in anything but I Love Lucy.

I think this is the first Lucy movie I ever saw---as a little girl, so it holds a special place in my heart as things from childhood usually do. It's definitely a good movie---even without being an I LOVE LUCY fan. In fact, I may have watched this even before I watched I LOVE LUCY.

Please excuse typos/funny wording; I use speech-recognition that doesn't always recognize!
