Marquee of Galaxy Theater

Anyone else notice that the movie playing at the Galaxy theater is "Our Very Own," which is another Farley Granger movie? I love "inside" touches like that. This is quite a grim film, with a superb cast. See Ellen Corby and Ray Teal as her violent husband (that's Bonanza's Sheriff Coffee!). And the ever reliable Paul Stewart. Granger was very believable, and I thought the treatment of religion was more introspective, not maudlin or treacly. I found it on Netflix, and consider myself lucky! I've been seeking out more noirish films from this era. What a treat when you get a great cast and director!
