Here in his screen debut Heston appears larger than life;

already we sense the quality & charisma of the man.

Scott is good;Defoe is very good as the sap.

A Strong cast is a hi-lite and the b\w is most effective in this curious film noir.

...also,significantly,3 Oscar winners along w\Chuck we've got Begley and Jagger !

Dark City is a Dark flic which also qualifies it as a noirish One !
