well,you should be.heston's first film was his best,and lizabeth scott is intoxicating.a film that proves that film noir can still work with a happy ending.

I saw this on TV maybe 30 years ago. As far as I can tell, it's never been on home video. Where can this be seen?

Finally saw the film over the weekend. Not in the upper tier of films noir, but not bad. The Heston character seemed to call for a more cynical, world-weary type, ala Mitchum or Edmond O'Brien. But Heston doesn't do badly. I really love the supporting types, and the location footage of Las Vegas is priceless.

___Yes, Las Vegas was nearly brand new, and really Glitter Gulch. A few of the driving scenes were pretty obvious Los Angeles. Vegas just didn't have those intersections then, or even now, but the gambling lights and airport were Vegas.
