He told the police he was poisoned "last night." So all the events happed that day. Let's see - he went to two doctors, a panicked run through the streets, three visits to Mrs. Phillips, two visits to Halliday, plus one to his secretary. A flight to Los Angeles and a visit to the photo shop before having a shoot-out. Plus a visit to Rubian's girlfriend, And being kidnapped by Rubian and the encounter with Chester. I'm sure I missed a few things. All this while poison is killing him. It would make more sense to spread the story out over at least a few days.

Yeah, never even had a meal as far as we can tell. Reminded me of that TV show 24, or what I imagine it was like. Never watched it.

Don't think they could spread it out though. We need to believe he is dying soon and that would have ruined the credibility.

What they should have done is not made the plot quite so convoluted and concentrated more on the thoughts and different motivations of a man who knows he's done for.
