I managed to catch this short on the internet...but having Boomerang & recording the MGM 30-minute slot EVERYday...I noticed this short is never shown...has Cartoon Network banned it?
There DOES have quite a bit of gunplay.

When they used to air it on Cartoon Network they would remove the scene where the cuckoo bird shot the cat in the head, however strangely enough in another Tex Avery cartoon The Television Of Tomorrow they left in the scene where the man installs a gun in his tv to keep his friend from messing with it and the gun shoot his friend in the head at point blank, but they would remove any other scene where a character got shot in the head unless it was Daffy Duck, no idea why they wouldn't show it on Boomerang sure it's violent but then again most of Tex Avery's MGM cartoons are.
