Compared to later Antonioni?

I was thinking of buying this film as i love Antonioni, but was wondering how it compared to his later work? The earliest film i've seen of his is "L'avventura".

It´s his first feature. The film already has his style. You will recognize it and won´t be disappointed.

This is the second Antonioni movie I saw after Identification of a Woman... and this was simply great..
