Why did the mice call her 'Cinderelly'?

And why did they call Lucifer, "lucafee"?

I find it hard to believe that they're smart enough to sew dresses and outsmart the step mother by stealing the room key, but they CAN'T pronounce "Cinderella" or "Lucifer".

reply

Perhaps because of their language, but that's only my best guess. In Fireman Sam, Bella always called Trevor Evans Trevori, so possibly of where the mice originally come from is my best guess.

reply

Because they were cute.

reply

Or they were just nicknames.

reply

Because they're mice and they have difficulty pronouncing long names in their language. So they give them nicknames instead.

reply

like a child who mispronounces a relative's name and creates their own version of it.

reply

Exactly!

reply

BECAUSE it's CUTE! That's why.
