Prince charming trying the glass slipper

Why is it not the prince that kneals to Cinderella and tries the glass slipper on her little foot?

Wouldn't it be more romantic? Since he is madly in love with her?

reply

If he were the one trying on the glass slipper, the girls would probably be all over him.

reply

What I found unreal, is that he didn't remember what she looked like. He fell in love with her because she was the most beautiful girl at the ball, but he can't remember what she looked like, that all the single women in the village had to try on the slipper?

reply

the love story (except for falling in love) is mostly the King's plotline rather then the Prince's like it is in Snow White&Sleeping Beauty

reply

Ad much as the Prince loved Cinderella, it's obvious that the King wanted this arranged marriage far more that he did, considering he was desperate for grand kids

reply

well maybe he was just concerned for his line's continuation. Because no grandchildren=no heirs
