She was very breath taking in this film. I always thought she was a very attractive actress.

I agree 100%. Although Agnes' looks are downplayed somewhat for this role, as they often were in cinema, her natural attractiveness comes through.

If you think she is attractive in Caged (1950) check her out in Without Honor (1949). She plays a businessman's regal-type wife. She is very attractive and elegant in this role. Much more so than the usual role she took where her looks were downplayed.

What I have always admired about Agnes Moorehead is that she can look like an aristocrat or a demented old slob -- if the role calls for it -- and be equally convincing at each.

Great movie, by the way. Saw it (DVR) for the first time last night. I need to re-watch it. There are so many personalities and subtle things to pick-up on.

She's becoming one of my favorites to watch in classic films.

Agnes can be ver appealing. She really glamed it up in Bewitched, but then again was plain as a mud fence in Hush, Hush Sweet Charlotte.

I believe she is what my mother would have called a "handsome woman". She always used it to describe a strong -- both in spirit and stature -- woman.

Defined in the Urban Dictionary as: "A woman with the kind of refined beauty and attractiveness that requires poise, dignity, and strength of mind and character, things that often come with age; not merely sex-appeal. Usually applied to a woman who is also very well-groomed and from an upper class background."

This movie is fabulous. Eleanor Parker is the Piper of Orange is the New Black.

I always thought Agnes Moorehead was very attractive, if not downright sexy.

Considering I only knew her form "Bewitched", it was cool to see her in earlier roles. I also enjoyed Ellen Corby's acting. I liked "The Waltons" as a kid.
