For those of you who have seen the alternate ending which shows the further adventures of Christabel after Curtis dumps her and she moves on to one scandalous affair after another--did you prefer that ending, or was it a little bit too silly? Or was the original cut better, in which Christabel makes off with a carload of furs and the painting's price goes up to $500[/spoler]?

I just recently saw BtbB with the ending in which she goes on to other affairs. I kind of liked it, because types like Christabel are serial maneaters and always on to the next guy when she thinks she can get something out of him. I knew someone like this and for some inexplicable reason men fell for her. She didn't have the beauty of Joan Fontaine that's for sure, but she knew how to pick her subjects well.
