How about that German kid?

I think one of the most comical things was the German kid who made the dedication from all the German children of Berlin. The guy who taught him the speech was quite obviously a southerner and he says to the kid, "Na go own and say that speech jest like I taught ja. They aint one leetle thing to be a scared of." then the kid comes out with the same type of drawl mixed in with the German accent. The kid says, "Thanks for all yall have done fer us." I thought it was cool because my dad was from the south and spoke with that same drawl, maybe that's why it stuck out so much to me.

Hmmm... could be, in fact could be that's what the film-makers intended, but it sounded to me more like an American actor trying to talk with a German accent.
