Dorothy Tree did a great job as May Emmerich. I've seen Dorothy Tree in a number of mysteries from the thirties. She always gave a good performance.

That poor woman. I hope she was able to sell the additional house and all of the contents to pay off her husband's debts and pay her medical bills and living.

They never did follow up on this character. A pity, I think.
