I too love this movie - the writing is superb.
Best.Screenplay.Ever. One of my favorite lines are:
Bill: Zanuck is impatient. He wants me, he needs me...

Bill: Only in some ways. You're prettier.
I like how when Margo assures Max, at the party, that:
Of course I've got bicarb. There's a box in the pantry. We'll put your name on it. Max Fabian. It'll say there. Always. Just for you.

I like the part when Max tells Bill that Margo "loves me like a father. Plus, she's loaded".
