The "close up'" episode

There is an episode I recall where a viewer wrote in, and asked Jack how he stayed so young looking. He replied they kept wheeling the camera further away each year. He then called for a close up, and there was an instant shot of hime wearing outragiously ridiculous old age make up. He looked like peyote.
