injustice!!

The extremely useful website www.TVshowsonDVD.com does a tremendous job with tracking all the latest news, releases, and information about our beloved TV shows on DVD. It is an excellent resource for the collector. Recently, however, I noticed that they neglected to add this show when it was released on DVD. I contacted them, and they basically gave me the brush off saying they don't have enough time to add shows that aren't high profile. I thought that was very rude and it is inconsistent with keeping an accurate database of TV shows released on DVD, which I thought was the purpose of their website. I have thier emails for whoever wants to see them. I encourage all fans of this show to contact them and request the DVD releases for this show to be added to thier site.

I agree, that's a dirty thing to do to George 'n' Gracie! I'm 17 and have loved this show for what seems like eons. "Not high profile" my eye!

Yeah...

I've never heard of the show but they had many DVDs of this and several other shows in Dollar General for only a buck (with 3 episodes on each DVD)

This is one of the all time greats from the fifties.

I think the situation is that there are no real official DVD's of the series, in order, but merely random episodes distributed by "bootleg " outfits- I have several $1 DVDs I got at Wall mart and K Mart-

If you're on a budget, here's a 19-disk set (quality rating: 7/10) collected by Classic DVD World:

I got a 2 DVD set (10 episodes on each DVD) for $12.99 at a store called Farm and Fleet.

The problem is that the people managing these companies now are from a younger generation, and are likely in their thirties or forties. Maybe their fifties.

But they never saw the Burns and Allen show, and these snot noses don't understand what a classic masterpiece of comedy this show was, and always will be.

Disgraceful.
