Original opening credits

Watching the Cisco Kid on the World Harvest Network I was highly annoyed to find that the original opening credits(and the last part of the ending credits) had been replaced by a later, nondescript version. The originals were very beautifully photographed;hopefully they can be restored to their rightful place sometime in the future.

Wonder why they did that?

Do you know if there is a place where I can get the opening credits??

Walmart sells a western package that contains several of the original "Cisco Kid" episodes and although they appear to be public domain copies, they are still watchable, though the color is a bit bleached. The opening and ending credits are intact.

It could be that the company that purchased the rights to create the DVDs replaced the original credits (and the show's studio) with their own, giving themselves a nice plug. There are movies in the past that had that same thing happen to them, when some movie studios back in the 50s started selling off their back titles to TV middlemen, who would then sell the rights to show them to TV stations a bunch at a time, often replacing the titles that showed the original studios' name (once again) with their own.
