Gum-Chewing

I loved Howard Duff with his gum-chewing which Ida Lupino picked up on. It almost seemed like they were making a statement of how gum was better for you than cigarettes. Kind of odd in 1950! I enjoyed this movie, nothing spectacular, but it had those little touches, like the gum chewing, which lent interest. I also enjoy seeing all those old train and bus stations and newstands.
