War machine vs human lives!

Excellent war drama! Brings one question: are the results of the War Machine more important than human lives? According to this film, the answer is, undoubtedly, a definite YES! During the Second World War, Hitler was the Enemy. Today? Who is?!!!?? One false note: the sudden 'recovery' of Peck after his 'crack up'. Another great forgotten war drama: Robert Aldrich's 'Attack!' with Jack Palance. A must!

Wrong. Savage didn't "recover". He simply came out of his catatonic state. His immediate need for sleep was only one indication that his recovery would be a long complicated process. Look at everyone's face in that room the next time you watch this film. Nobody's acting like everything's back to normal just because he picks up a phone. They're just glad he's not trapped in permanent catatonia.

What on earth are you going on about?

I had the same question. Maybe the OP forgot to turn on his Universal Translator before he wrote that.

See you upstairs.
