So what did you think of 'So You Think You're Not Guilty' (1950)?

This Joe McDoakes short (included on the DVD for White Heat) is a very funny variation on the old "Pay the Two Dollars" vaudeville routine.

Do you agree? Disagree? What do you think of this short--and of the Joe McDoakes series as a whole?

These Warner Night at the Movies DVDs are an excellent way to see these neglected short films.

I'm watching the DVD of The Petrified Forest right now. The live-action short included is called Rhythmitis and the cartoon is The Coo Coo Nut Grove.

Warner Archives released the full Joe McDoakes collection on DVD, all 63 shorts on 6 discs. It's not a box-set you'd watch from beginning to end, but It's great fun to pop a disc in and watch a couple of Joe's adventures (or more aptly, misadventures) at your leisure.
