This features the original cast with music by Billy May narrated by John Beal. I have the lp record but this is from the Capitol records issue of (4) 10" 78RPM. Pretty cool stuff!

The audio quality is excellent, hard to imagine this is from a more than 60-year-old 78rpm record! Cover picture scans are great too.
I think the only thing missing from this record is Burl Ives' voice. I'm not sure, but I notice that he isn't credited (he doesn't even appear in the sleeve pictures), and the singing seems to lack the sonorous quality of Ives' voice. Strange ....
Anyway, thanks to whoever took the trouble to do these awesome transfers
