Rain and Snow

Yeah, I thought that, but I'll be buggered if I can quite get to grips with what it may mean. Mind you, I like that fact that some things in Kurosawa films are open to interpretation and/or make you wonder what he was up to.

i love how Kurosawa uses weather as symbolism in his movies, my favorite is the heat in Stray Dog which feels like an extra character
