DVD
About time this was released on DVD. Two of the stars, Dean and Margaret, are still alive. They could do something for the special features. How about it?
shareI completely agree! About time! With all the rubbish they release now on DVD, they tend to forget the little, true gems. (The same goes for the Universal The Chalk Garden,with D. Kerr and H. Mills).
I will e-mail MGM again about The Secret Garden. Having it already out on VHS, it should not be too demanding to transfer it on DVD. Another MGM film that deserves to see the DVD treatment is These Three, with M.Oberon.
I don't what you mean by "the DVD treatment," but you can make your own DVD because TCM is airing it 1/15/12 at 8am ET. I plan to record it on DVD and can share if I'm successful. Obviously, it won't have all the bells and whistles like director/actor commentary, subtitles, deleted scenes, etc.
