i think i'm planning to buy the region 2 PAL dvd of this movie

I got mine from HMV for £1.99

the dvd of this movie was already released on dvd but in a boxset only. it was never sold individually

That may have been true as of July, but I was able to buy a region-free DVD of this movie in September.

Just look around a bit on a Certain Internet Auction Site and you'll be able to find a copy.
