Great Lean Film

I just saw this on Netflix for the first time and loved it. I was really glued to the tv. I liked the story, thought the actors were A+ and that Lean's direction was outstanding. Certain scenes have stayed with me. Now I want to see all of David Lean's movies. I've always been a fan of Great Expectations and Hobson's Choice and his later masterpieces. He really knew what he was doing.

"It was a great big white elephant of a place, the kind crazy movie people built in the crazy 20s. A neglected house gets an unhappy look. This one had it in spades."
