Anyone else feel sorry for poor Lucy?

On stage, she's all humor, whereas the movie scene where Gabey says goodbye to her is a definitely a bit sadder.

It does seem like everyone runs in the opposite direction as soon as they meet her. Other than her voice and a tendency toward neediness, she is surprisingly devoid of repellent traits. My feeling is, anyone who snubs her on sight may be cheating himself.

Ms. Pearce was pure gold as Gladys Kravitz on Bewitched...she got *so* much out of a simple facial expression. A real jewel she was.

It's sad that she died of cancer while appearing on BEWITCHED.
But Sandra Gould was good, too.
