Trivial idea noticed when Stanwyck's character receives a message...

I was curious what the note says that Barbara Stanwyck's character receives at 48min 25sec so I paused the film. While reading the entire paper I noticed at the top it says Western Union and it shows the Presidents name Joseph L. Egan. I was curious to see if this was a real person or if they just made this up. Apparently, Joseph L. Egan was the president of the company until December 1948 when he died. Walter P. Marshall was Egan's predecessor and became president of Western Union in 1948. Now with this information and rereading the message Stanwyck's character receives, we see that in this fictional case this message was sent January 5, 1949. At the time this was hypothetically sent, the president of Western Union was no longer Joseph L. Egan but now Walter P. Marshall. This makes me wonder if this was filmed before December 1948 when Egan was still President or if it was filmed after Egan's Death? And if this was filmed after, maybe Western Union had just not yet changed their heading? Obviously, you can tell I have too much time on my hands but I thought I'd throw this "trivia" type idea out there. I know the film wasn't released until February of 1950 so I wonder when exactly this scene might of been shot, 1948 or 1949? I guess We'll never know...

Here's a freeze frame of what I'm talking about:

If you are not a detective have you considered becoming one?

Amazing; as many times as I've seen the movie, I never noticed that.
