I am watching this movie for the first time and I was aghast when the doctor said if she keeps food down she can see her baby in about a week. Wow! This makes me so thankful for the improvements in medicine in the last 50 years because I would have gone nuts back them! :)
I don't think any mother could watch that scene without thinking the same thing! Due to problems in the hospital, it took about 4-5 hours for nurses to bring my son to me the morning after he was born-I was beside myself. I can't imagine a week! LOL.
