Anyone else notice "Naked gun" connection?

When Ricardo Montablan (who was also Ludwick from "Naked gun") is visiting Esther Williams at her clothes fashion buisiness in "Neptune's daughter", Ricardo gets this thin little glass vile stuck on the end of his finger much in the same fashion that Leslie Nielson gets that bitting fish stuck on the end of his finger in Ludwick's office in "Naked gun". Also Ricardo noticing the tropical fish tank in Esther's office in " Neptune's daughter" just like the tropical fish tank in Ludwick's office in " Naked gun" that Nielson gets the bitting fish stuck on his finger from. Anyone else notice the connections?
