Surprise Siting of Jeff Chandler

Late in this movie Mr. Belvedere is arrested by two policeman, one of which is Jeff Chandler, who appears here uncredited. Chandler was just on the verge of breaking out, his big role in Broken Arrow only a year away. Also at this time Chandler was appearing on radio as the original Mr. Boynton opposite Eve Arden and Gale Gordon in Our Miss Brooks.

In the follow up to this movie, Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell, there also appears in the uncredited role of a policeman, this time very early in the movie, an actor who was only a few years away from his big break. That would be Hugh Beaumont soon to assume the role of Ward Cleaver in the legendary TV sitcom Leave It to Beaver.

And I think I spotted the great (mostly) TV character actress Kathleen Freeman playing one of the coeds. (She has long, dark hair and is considerably heavier.)
