Young Marilyn

This movie had been on my list for a long time because I knew it as Marilyn's first significant role. I finally caught it and found it very interesting to see her as she was before she developed her well-known persona. I must say I found her beautiful in a fresh, unaffected way, and I much preferred her voice here the the breathy voice she began using later in all her movies.

But what do I know? She created a larger-than-life character who is still widely known 60 years after her death. So I guess she knew what she was doing.
