scary Doris Day
When she does her eye-flutter/smile thing, and that quirky music plays, it's scary. It goes on throughout the movie, and it freaks me out.

This running bit was reminiscent of the one used Marion Davies' Show People (one of MGM's last silents). The tweeting sound effects were a little creepy!
shareI also thought that it was creepy (and weird in such an old movie - they were not usually doing strange things like that :D)

I came to this particular board for the same reason here lol . Also totally agree with everyone here too that " eye-flutter/smile thing " was just too freaky creepy for words . Why the heck did they make her do that for this movie ? I understand this movie was a comedy but that was just not funny . I'm watching this movie right now on TCM . It's a great movie so far ( from what I have seen of it missed the first half ) . Doris Day was fabulous as always ( like she was in every movie she was in ) . Thanks shandy8 for your subject post .
shareI'm watching it now and I thought the same thing. After the first few times it gets annoying. Love the film so far though!
