Paul Douglas Called Ray Milland Kid.....

throughout the movie as an elder statesman of the ball team. In reality Milland was 2 years older than Douglas!! Paul Douglas was 42, and always had that gruff older man look, that made him look 10 years older in his movies. Ray Milland was 44, and had those smooth Hollywood leading man looks, that made him look 10 years younger than he was. I guess that is why he got the 23 year old Jean Peters as his girlfriend!
