Nothing wrong with black and white

I'm going to start by saying I love this movie. It's on my best friend's list of top ten movies of all time. The three heads song is incredible - as is the typical Sylvia Fine tongue twister song in the beginning of the film. And the Gypsy Dance! Can't be replaced...and when I see someone passing the buck, I still call it "slapping the goat" - although I get funny looks when I do. :)

I'm not a huge Danny Kaye fan, although I enjoy several pieces of his work, and his incredible talent can't be denied. He's great in this movie; it fits his personality well. And every time I see one of the supporting cast members in something else, I think of "The Inspector General." (watching "yakov" in "Call Me Madam" right now - it's what made me think of this board.)

Be arrogant, be elegant, be smart!!

I didn't think I was a Danny Kaye fan either, but I was young and niave, now that I have seen this movie, man, what talent! I wish I could do all that!

Accused here of being a 12YO or an 8YO, as if either of those were bad things!
